Dr. Ayşegül Bostancı

Ayşegül Bostancı was born in Nicosia in 1988. In 2006, she graduated from Bülent Ecevit Anatolian High School, and in 2011 she graduated from Kingston University, Department of Molecular Biology and Cellular Biology. In 2012, she started working at Near East University Hospital, and in the same year, she started her master's degree at the Department of Medical Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology at Near East University. In 2017, she started her PhD education in the same department. In 2023, she defended her doctoral thesis titled 'Long- COVID-19 in Asymptomatic, Non-Hospitalized and Hospitalized Patient Population: A Cross-Sectional Study' and received the title of Doctor of Science. She is working at the DESAM Reseasrch Institute Kit Production and Genome Analysis Laboratory. She has articles in national and international indexed journals and congress presentations. Her academic interests include Molecular Microbiology, Molecular Virology, and Molecular Parasitology. She is married.
