The DESAM Research Institute Kit Production Laboratory was established in 2021 to meet the increasing COVID-19 molecular diagnostic kit needs after the COVID-19 pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV). It started its activities by producing innovative and high-tech solutions to control the spread of the virus and developing molecular screening and diagnosis-based COVID-19 diagnosis and variant diagnostic kits.

With its expert staff and state-of-the-art equipment, the Kit Production Laboratory, which has been designed in accordance with the latest technological developments in line with domestic and international scientific studies, continues to develop and produce diagnostic kits by taking into account local infection cases for the diagnosis of infectious diseases and genetic diseases, which are of great importance for public health in the field of molecular microbiology.
