Prof. Dr. İsa Dumanoğlu, who has been carrying out studies on Experimental High Energy Physics at Cukurova University and CERN, has made a presentation within the scope of the periodical conferences held by Near East University, Experimental Health Sciences Research Center (DESAM).
According to the information provided by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, in the presentation held at Hall 101 of the Near East University Hospital, Prof.Dr. Dumanoğlu explained the stages of how matter was discovered in detail since the first age. Prof. Dr. Dumanoglu, gave information about yet undiscovered substances and the new models of the sub-particles studied at the European Center for Nuclear Physics Research (CERN).

Prof. Dr. İsa Dumanoğlu, the group leader of the experiment titled Compact Muon Selonoid (CMS) and held at Çukurova University, will contribute to the CMS experiment conducted at CERN within the Near East University, where he actively started to conduct his studies.

Prof. Dr. İsa Dumanoğlu, conducting studies at Çukurova University and CERN on Experimental High Energy Physics, has also been conducting research along with his students on Detector Physics and the detection of particles beyond the Standard Model, especially on the core substance of the Dark Matter. Between 2001-2002, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Maryland in the United States. Since 1993, Dumanoğlu has been conducting researches at CERN research center in Switzerland and took part in various periods of CMS experiment. He is a member of the Compact Muon Selonoid (CMS) experiment, one of the four major detectors of the CERN Laboratory. Prof. Dr. Dumanoğlu will support CERN studies under the umbrella of the Near East University.
